I Ketut Sukarasa was born in Klungkung precisely in the Nyanglan village at 01 June 1969. After finishing elementary school at SDN Nyanglan on 1982, he immediately proceeded to SMPN 1 Tembuku and graduate in 1985. He completed high school in SMAN 5 Denpasar and graduated in year of 1988. Completed his bachelor's degree in Physics at Udayana University and his master's degree at the Bandung Institute of Technology. In addition to actively teaching at Departement of Physics Udayana University since 1998. He is also active in fostering children who will take part in the earth olimpics since 2008 and conduct research for subsection of surface water.
