I Gde Antha Kasmawan obtained his bachelor's degree in Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Airlangga University, Surabaya-Indonesia in 1993 and obtained a master's degree in Physics at the Bandung Institute of Technology, Bandung-Indonesia in 2000 and obtained a doctorate from the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, Bali-Indonesia in 2020.  Since 1994 he has been a lecturer in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University, Bali-Indonesia, with a special field of Bioacoustics research since 2013.
