Biografi

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Airlangga University, Surabaya, Indonesia. I have also acquired my Master majoring in Tropical Biology awarded by James Cook University, Townsville Australia in 2007. My Master thesis title was Studies on Bali Salak Cultivars (Salacca zalacca var. Amboinensis; Arecaceae). I am currently in progress of finalizing my Ph.D. degree, specializing in Plant Systematics at The University of Adelaide, Australia. My Ph.D. research project is The Phylogeny of the Australasian Genus Patersonia (Iridaceae). My research interests are in plant systematics and taxonomy. My current research of the Genus Patersonia involves both classical and molecular approaches. These include morphological, anatomical and molecular studies, as well as character evolution of the genus.
