CV of Anak Agung Gde Raka Dalem

·     Anak Agung Gde Raka Dalem, Dr.(Cand.) (Tourism), Ir. (Food Tech. & Nutrition), M.Sc.(Hons) (Env. Sciences), is a lecturer at Udayana University Bali, and the Vice Chairperson of the Tourism Village Forum of Bali province, Indonesia. In addition, he is also the Coordinator of international programs “Upskill Study Programs” as well as a researcher at the Centre of Excellence in Tourism at Udayana University, Bali. 

·     Before he was the Dean of the Faculty of Math. & Natural Sciences, head of Ecology Laboratory, and the head of Ecotourism & Sustainable Development Study Group on the same institution.

·     Raka Dalem has 28 years working experiences. He has significant experiences in auditing, lecturing, leading institutions, conducting training & providing consultancy for hotels, destinations, governmental staffs and other institutions, as well as providing social services for community which are participated on the green, sustainable, or environmentally friendly tourism certifications & eco-tourism programs, risk assessment, EIS, environmental management (EMS), Balinese Life Philosophy of Tri Hita Karana, etc.  

·     Among of those which have ever become Raka Dalem’s clients and/or partners, were: APO Japan, The St. Regis Bali, St. Marys’s College (USA), Melia Purosani Yogyakarta, Green Globe Asia Pacific, EarthCheck (Australia), SIT School of International Training (USA), Novotel Balikpapan, Gran Melia Jakarta, Monkey Forest Ubud, The Westin Resort & Convention Centre Bali, Lumen Media (Singapore), Subak Sembung, Bali, Novotel Lombok, ITDC or The Nusa Dua (Bali), BTN Mass Media of Bali Post Group, Ministry of Tourism of the Rep. of Indonesia, etc.

·     Raka Dalem has been awarded Inspiration Award by Australian Government in February 16, 2008.
