Ida Ayu Raka Astiti Asih was born in the village of Pererenan Mengwi Badung on June 2, 1964. After graduating from high school she continued to study at Airlangga University in Surabaya, then in 1992 was accepted as a lecturer in the Department of Chemistry at Udayana University. In 1998 She continued her studies at Padjadjaran University in Bandung and in 2015 he took a doctoral program at Udayana University. Aside from being a lecturer from 2007 to present as a THK Bali assessor. The current research field is the natural product chemistry, especially the exploration of active compounds from organic materials which have antioxidant and antibacterial activities.
