Biografi

Meitini Wahyuni Proborini (Mety) was born at 23 May 1964.   She studied elementary school, junior and senior high school from 1971- 1983 in Purwokerto, Middle of Java. She continued her study to Faculty of Biology at University of Jenderal Soedirman (UNSOED) from 1983 - 1988.  He join the Udayana University as a lecturer in 1991, and still working for Udayana until now.

In 1996 She was awarded scholarship from AusAid (ADS) for further study (Master Degree) at School of Plant Science  University of Tasmania. The project for the master was on Spatial and Temporal Distribution of Endomycorrhiza in Tasmanian Heathlands ( North, South, East and West Tasmania). The Master Degree was achieved by December 1998.  Doctor Degree was achieved by 2013  from Agriculture Post Graduate University of Udayana.  The research topic on the Doctorate program was the identification, spatial-temporal distribuion and aplication of native endomycorrhiza on cashew plantation.

Since 1991 - present I lectured on some subject  either at undergraduated or post graduate i.e. Taxonomy non vascular plant, Mycology,  soil mycrobiology, bio-forensic and plant pathology. Since 1999 until present concern on fungal research (Majorly on Fungal taxonomy, Plant Pathology  and fungal aplication). since 2008 until present concern on aplication of mycorrhizae.   Related to the concern research I have supervised under graduated, master and doctor students on fungi and mycorrhiza.
