I’m,  I Dewa Gede Alit Udayana. Born in Susut-Bangli, Bali on January 30, 1957. Completed primary, junior high, and senior high school respectively at SDN 1 Susut (1970), SMPN 1 Susut (1973), and SMAN 1 Bangli (1976). He attended tertiary education (Strata-1) at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry (FKHP) of Udayana University (now Faculty of Animal Husbandry) since 1977, and was completed in 1982.

            After completing my Bachelor degree (with the title of Ir.) I had worked at a private financial institution, besides actively writing professional articles (livestock) in various mediamassa. Since 1986, he was appointed as an educative (lecturer) at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, Denpasar. In 1990, he had the opportunity to take a Master of Science (Strata-2) degree in the Animal Science Study Program Postgraduate Program in the Bogor Institute of Agriculture. Completed in 1992, holds an MS.



As a lecturer, in 1995 I was appointed as an First Exemplary Lecturer of Udayana University (previously, in 1994, I became an Third Exemplary Lecturer of Udayana University, and twice in a row became an First Exemplary Lecturer at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry of Udayana University, in 1994 and 1995). Because of this achievement (First Exemplary Lecturer of Udayana University in 1995) the author was invited to Jakarta to attend the Golden Year Celebration of Indonesian Independence (50th Anniversary 1995) at the State Palace. I was also awarded as an Outstanding Student in Bali (1996). Besides giving lectures, researching and writing textbooks, I’m still actively writing professional articles in the form of popular scientific writing. Until now, more than 100 popular scientific writings produced and scattered in various media, both published in Bali, and published in Jakarta (Bali Post, Nusa, Prima, Indonesian Poultry, Trobos, PetHouse, Raditya, etc.) . In his alma mater, the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, once guided the student magazine Nandaka. The ability to write is better honed thanks to the various trainings he had participated in, including Textbook Writing training, Applied Approach Training, Journalistic Training, Photography for Teaching Purpose Training, and so on.

         I work in the form of books have been published, namely: Hatching of Bali Duck Eggs with Grain published by LPM Udayana University, Denpasar (Th 2006, ISBN 979-99889-0-X) and Balinese Satire Satire, Satirical Expressions in Daily Life of the Balinese published by Four Color Communication Publishing (Th. 2007, ISBN 978-979-3770-96-3) in 2004, successfully wrote a textbook entitled Knowledge of Animal Food Materials, and various textbooks for the purposes of the teaching-learning process. In 2006, his book entitled Hatching of Bali Duck Eggs with Grain received an award from the Rector of Udayana University. In 2008 his book titled Tumpek Kandang, Bali Local Wisdom for Conservation and Development of Animal Resources was published by the Bali Post Library, Denpasar (ISBN 978-979-6496-80-6). Another book published by the Pustaka Bali Post (Denpasar) entitled The Message of Classical Balinese Wisdoms in Fables, Songs, Poetry and Nature Signs (ISBN 978-979-8496-94-3), published in January 2010. In 2014, writing the Bali Duck book, As Animal Ceremony and Production (ISBN 978-602-7776-82-1) published by Udayana University Press., Denpasar. The book Feed Additive in Animal Feed (ISBN 978-602-7599-35-2) written in 2016 was published by Nulus Swasta, Denpasar. In 2017 wrote 2 (two) books each: Zeolite As a Pollution Reducing Feed Additive (ISBN 978-602-204-599-1) published by Paramita (Surabaya), and Tajen, Bali Typical Cockfights From Various Perspectives (ISBN 978 -602-8953-58-0) published by Pustaka Bali Post, Denpasar. In 2015, I won an award from the Hindu Books & Readers Community (HBRC) as the Best Hindu Book Writer for my book Tumpek Kandang, Bali Local Wisdoms for Conservation and Development of Animal Resources published by the Pustaka Bali Post, Denpasar. In 2018, the I succeeded in writing the book Agro-industry Waste and its Potential as Animal Feed (ISBN 978-602-7599-55-0) and Tumpek Uduh in Bali (ISBN 978-602-5742-30-9) published by Nulus Private (Denpasar) ). In 2019, there were 2 (two) books I wrote, namely Secrets on Livestock and Animal Husbandry (ISBN 978-602-5742-60-2) and Bali-Based Local Wisdom of Agriculture (ISBN 978-602-5742-67-5) which was also published by Swasta Nulus (Denpasar). In January 2020, 2 books were released, namely Unique Facts in the Presentation and Administration of Animal Rations and Balinese Local Wisdom for Mitigation and Management of Pests and Diseases in Plants and Animals, both of which were published by Swasta Nulus, Denpasar.
