His name is I Wayan Ek Sutyawan, he was born in Denpasar on June 6 in 1975. He was born to a mother who worked at the Blahkiuh Community Health Center and continued her career as an employee in the administrative department of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. His father was an employee of the state-owned Logistics Depot. He is the first child of two brothers, a younger brother, and one younger sister. He is married to a faculty friend and is currently gifted with 3 sons and daughters.

    During school, he spent more elementary school in the village of his birth, the Village Peguyangan Kaja. He always tried hard to study to be able to continue his secondary school education at his favorite public school. Then he continued his education at SMP N 10 Denpasar. During his education, the school's achievements did not disappoint. After completing secondary education, he continued his secondary education at SMA N 4 Denpasar, one of the current favorite high schools. During his high school education, there was a desire to continue his studies at the Faculty of Medicine because since he was a child he was accustomed to the health environment. In the end, he was able to complete his secondary school education and was finally accepted into the Faculty of Medicine at Udayana University. The education period at the Udayana Faculty of Medicine can be completed within 6 years.

    After completing his education at the medical school, he then served for 3 years in the Soriutu area, Soriutu District, Dompu Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. The term of service is filled with various community health service activities based on the Public Health Centre. During his tenure, many cases were found in the field of eye health so he was interested in being able to continue his education as a specialist doctor. While on duty, he also briefly participated in the Dompu District exemplary doctor competition and was ranked third. He completed the PTT term of service for 3 years and then continued his test in the field of eye health in 2005. He was successfully accepted as a prospective ophthalmologist at FK UNUD which is currently under the auspices of FK UI. The eye specialist education can be completed for about 4 years.

    After completing specialist education, he then applied for the eye health department to become a teaching staff and be accepted. After serving several years as a contract lecturer, finally, in 2014 he was successfully appointed as a permanent lecturer in FK UNUD. At present, he has also completed a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and currently serves as chair of the Pediatric division and strabismus in the field of eye health.
