I am an academic at School of Public Health, at Medical Faculty Udayana University from 2005 until present. My research interest is on nutrition science specifically to the influence of nutrition and micronutrient related to community health status. One of my articles was published under Ministry of Higher Education Accredited Journal entitled “Serum chromium and micromineral intakes in diabetes type 2 patients”. This article was a part of my thesis on "The effect of chromium picolinate supplementation in Diabetes Type 2.” This was published online at Jurnal Gizi Klinik Indonesia (JGKI) Universitas Gajah Mada (UGM) Vol 13 No 4 April 2017; pp. 135-143. In 2019, I completed a report on dietary pattern, protein quality, and nutritional status and health status among vegetarian and non-vegetarian societies in Bali. This research was a collaborative innovation between School of Public Health, Medical Faculty Udayana University with Department of Community Nutrition, IPB University Bogor. The study was funded by Neys van Hogstraten Foundation (NHF) from the Nederland. Beside of research, I actively participate in community service related to nutrition problems and public health.
