Ayu, is a senior lecturer at Departement of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Udayana  She is a medical doctor trained in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, policy advocacy and research. Ayu has just recently completed her PhD at The University of Sydney. With her team from Udayana Center for NCDs, Tobacco Control and Lung Health, she has been actively involved in tobacco control research, advocacy and capacity building in Indonesia for the last sevenyears. She published several peer reviewed articles and lay publications, and she is also an active reviewer for several international public health and policy journals, and tobacco control journal. She is also editor-in chief for the Public Health and Preventive Medicine Archive journal
