Biografi
I am Desak Ketut Indrasari Utami. My friends
call my name in various ways, there is Desak, there is also Utami. I was born
almost 50 years ago on the island that I am very proud of and love, Bali. I am
from a family whose parents are all civil servants, my siblings are 3 boys and
3 girls including me. Unfortunately my older sister has passed away since she
was a toddler. My mother has also left us since 2011 due to illness. Since
childhood, my life has been filled with various kinds of experiences. I really
like doing activities outside the home, even with my older brother, I never
miss to come along. I have had many hobbies since I was little. I learned
Balinese dancing, I love singing, drawing, sports, and I often win when there
are competitions or class champions. My parents are very open minded. They
freed us children to do whatever we liked. We grew up in a democratic family.
If we don't agree, we can argue. I won the class from elementary to high
school. I have always attended public schools. During college, I once enjoyed
the Supersemar scholarship, which at that time meant a lot to me who was living
with civil servant parents and many siblings. Studying at the Faculty of
Medicine at Udayana University is the greatest pride for me and my parents. In
fact, we did not think that I would be accepted at the FK Unud in 1990. I
graduated as a doctor in 1997, and at that time all doctors were required to
carry out the PTT (Non-Permanent Employee) doctor program for 3 years from
1998-2001. Before PTT I married my husband (1997) I was PTT at Puskesmas Negara
IV Yeh Kuning Village, Negara. In the third year of my marriage, I just had a
son, who is now 20 years old, studying at the Engineering Faculty, Department
of Architecture (like his father). The PTT experience provided maturity in
attitude and inspired me to continue my studies. After completing the PTT I became
a contract doctor at Triage Sanglah Hospital Denpasar. As a Triage doctor I met
many residents and was encouraged to go to specialized school. Finally, I had
chance to attend FK Airlangga
University. I graduated Specialist
(Neurologist) in 2008, and I worked in a private hospital in Bali, until
finally I got the opportunity to take the Lecturer PNS test, and I was accepted
as a CPNS in 2008. Until now I have devoted myself as a lecturer and I am proud
to be a lecturer . Many things happened, but they were all HIS plans.
Practicing the Tri Dharma is a routine in my life today.
