Biografi

I am Ni Nengah Dwi Fatmawati. My nick name is Dwi. I am a lecturer in Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Udayana and also a Clinical Microbiologist at Sanglah General Hospital, Denpasar Bali. I work at Departement of Microbiology, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Udayana since 2002.  I am interested in Microbiology, Clinical Microbiology, and Molecular Biology. I got PhD from Graduate School of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Okayama University Japan in 2012, while the Clinical Microbiologist at 2006 from Universitas Indonesia. I am the member of Persatuan Dokter Spesialis Mikrobiologi Indonesa/ PAMKI (Indonesian Society for Clinical Microbiologist), Ikatan Dokter Indonesia (IDI), Perhimpunan Mikrobiologi Indonesia/ PERMI (Indonesian Society for Microbiology), and Indonesian Society for Lactic Acid Bacteria and Gut Microbiota (ISLAB-GM). My research field are mostly on Antimicrobial Resistance, Gut Microbiota and Probiotics. With my group, Gut Microbiota and Health (lead by I Nengah Sujaya, PhD), we study GM and probiotics, focusing on local strains of probiotics, and investigate their effects on infectious diseases and non-infectious diseases.
