Biografi
Dr. dr. Cokorda Bagus Jaya Lesmana, S.Ked, Sp.KJ (K), MARS. Head of Culture Psychiatry Division in Psychiatry Department, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Bali and Secretary of Suryani Institute for Mental Health. He is being lecturing since 2003 at Udayana University and one of Indonesia’s 800 psychiatrists, is the youngest PhD in the field of psychiatry with the country’s growing number of mental health disorders. He developed, studied and evaluated a new psychiatric intervention in the treatment of childhood psychological trauma using the clinical method of Spiritual-Hypnosis Assisted Therapy (SHAT). He also has been involved in a community mental health outreach project since 2007 with The Suryani Institute for Mental Health. The result of the research and intervention of the methods has been published in European Archives of Psychiatry & Clinical Neuroscience, American Journal of Clinical Hypnosis, and Journal of Spirituality in Mental Health. He has been conducting collaborative studies with universities, such as: The University of Edinburgh, UK, The University of Sydney, Australia, The University of Warwick, UK, The University of California (Davis), US, The University of Hawaii, US, The University of Melbourne, Australia, The University of Vermont, US, The University of Kiel, Germany, The University of Toronto, Canada, Rollins College, US, and Leiden University, Holland. He was fellow of Postgraduate Overseas Specialists Training (POST) from University of Melbourne, Australia in 2010. He just published his last book Conversation with Psychiatrists in 2020.
