My name is Ida Ayu Alit Widhiartini. I am the third of five children. I attended a Bachelor of Pharmacy education, a pharmacist profession, and a postgraduate degree in Pharmacy from Airlangga University, Surabaya. I am interested in the Field of Pharmaceutical Biology and Pharmacology. I realized this interest during the completion of my thesis in the Department of Pharmacy Biology in 1992 at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Airlangga University and in the Pharmacology Department, Faculty of Medicine, Airlangga University. This subject lasted until I finished my Postgraduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 1999 at the same university. I learned more deeply about Pharmacology, which is Pharmacokinetics. I learned  how to determine dose regimentation for patients by implementing modeling concept. I continued this subject until I attended a doctoral program at Udayana University. The choice of specialization in masters and doctoral degrees is my commitment "to provide the mastery of medicine for student."

I am also a pharmacist practitioner. This profession enriched my knowledge as an academician, especially regarding the development of medicine and the use of drugs in the field both by colleagues, doctors, other medical proffession, and patients. This professional practice experience further strengthens my ability to develop competency of prospective doctors in the rational use and prescription of drugs. My obsession is to develop a prescription learning application that allows prospective doctors and doctors to evaluate their competencies independently so that rational prescribing can be realized. To realize this obsession I have a motto that “my success is how much benefit you have given to your environment."
