Yana is a lecturer in English Department, Udayana University. She obtained her Master of Linguistics from Australian National University, and previously, Bachelor Degree in Gajayana University. She is an awardee of AusAid Scholarship for the degree Post Graduate Diploma in Linguistics and Master of Linguistics, both in Australian National University.

Her research interest include: language typology, language teaching and translation. She is a teaching staff in English Department of Udayana University starting from 20010 up to now.
