Biografi
Ida Ayu Laksmita Sari is a lecturer in the Department of Japanese Literature, Faculty of Arts, Udayana University, Bali, since 2008. She completed her undergraduate education degree at the Department of Japanese Literature the University of Indonesia in 2007, masters degree at the Faculty of Arts, Udayana University in 2012, and her doctoral degree at the Linguistics Study Program, University Udayana in 2019.
During her career as a lecturer, she has participated in competitive international academic programs in Japan such as the JENESYS Program (2010) organized by the Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE), Summer Institute (2017) and Winter Institute (2019) both funded by the Japan Foundation.
She won national and international research grants, including competitive research grants from the Sumitomo Foundation, Japan (2018). In 2018, she joined the sandwich program at Waseda University, Japan, as a visiting research fellow to support the completion of her dissertation, under the auspicious of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Decree Education.
Laksmita Sari actively manages the Jurnal Kajian Bali (Journal of Bali Studies, rank 2nd national accreditation), and has been a reviewer for several journals affiliated with Language Centers in several provinces in Indonesia. She has also been a reviewer of the journal Pertanika: Journal of Sciences and Humanities (JSSH) (Scopus Q- 3) in 2020.
She is listed as a member of the Association of Scholars of Indonesia Literature (HISKI) Bali Branch and Alumni Association of Japan or Persada. Her research interests are folklore, Japanese literature, Ainu (Japanese) oral traditions, and Balinese folklore.
