Rochtri is a promising archaeologist who has acquired diverse research expertise across Indonesia. He has worked on many of the major archeological sites from Sumatra to NTT, bridging megalithic to Buddhist to per-Islamic kingdoms in Java, Sumatra and Kalimantan. He had advised and conducted field research for large exploration programs such as Vale Exploration and brings first-hand knowledge of the emerging archaeological record in Sumbawa.  He has research expertise in Krayan Highland - North Kalimantan, Lahat - Pasemah South Sumatera, Trowulan Mojokerto - East Java, and Bali. He has significant expertise in teaching, academic research and publications working with Indonesian universities, NGO’s and national and regional heritage and archeological agencies. He is currently teaches archaeology at University Udayana in Bali.
