I Wayan Suardiana, born in Kelating, Kerambitan, Tabanan-Bali on January 13, 1966. Graduated from his undergraduate education at the Department of Regional Literature (Bali), Faculty of Letters, Udayana University in 1991. Appointed as a staff lecturer in the same department in 1994 until now . In 1999 he succeeded in completing his Masters in Philology at Padjadjaran University, Bandung. The Doctoral Degree in Literary Discourse was obtained again from Udayana University in 2010. He is active in scientific writing at international and national forums, he also often provides lecture material at the invitation of related institutions and agencies in Bali. The author of the book Crita Manyrita Sajeroning Kasusastran Bali Purwa (Cakra Press, 2011) and Pantaraning Bali: Wacana-wacana Kritis Indik Budaya Bali (Pustaka Larasan, 2016) are also active in organizations. The positions he has held include, as Secretary of the Bali Province Bali Language, Literature and Language Agency for two periods 2008-2018. He has served as Head of the Bali Literature Study Program, FIB, Unud (2013-2017), Coordinator of the Bali Literature Study Program, FIB, Unud (2019-2022). He is also one of the initiators and 'workers' of publishing the first Balinese language newspaper in Bali "Bali Orti" in the Bali Post daily from 1996 to 2012.
