Biografi
I Made Rajeg is a professor of
linguistics at the English Department, Faculty of Arts, Udayana University. His research
interests include figurative languages mainly conceptual metaphors, lexical
semantics, corpus linguistics, and discourse. He speaks the basic Japanese language since
he lived in Japan for one year from 1991-1992 to study the language at Reitaku University under a scholarship from Inoue Corporation. In 1994, he was certified by Macquarie
University for his successful participation in the Teaching of English as a
Foreign Language (TEFL) course.
I Made Rajeg is very passionate about teaching with technology and has successfully completed a ten-week online teacher training course in Building Teaching Skills Through the Interactive Web at the University of Oregon, American English Institute, from June through August 2013 under a scholarship awarded by the American Government. Having the skills at hand, he integrates his teaching mode with the big data (corpora) to introduce the natural language usage to his students.
