Dr. Drs. I Nengah Punia, M.Si was born in 1966 in Antugan, Jehem, Bangli, and in 1974 were invited for transmigration to Bolaang Mongondow Regency, North Sulawesi, to complete his elementary, high school, and well-known tertiary education in Sulawesi North namely Sam Ratulangi University, Manado and was appointed as a civil servant Lecturer at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Sam Ratulangi University, Manado. while in 2008 he continued his Doctoral Study at the Cultural Studies Program of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences at Udayana University and finished in 2011, then returned to Manado to carry out his duties for 3 years, then proposed for moving to Udayana University in 2015. Research focus on the study of sociology in particular observing social phenomena that occur in society. Active in seminar activities on a national and international scale and conduct community service activities on a national scale.
