My name is Nazrina Zuryani. Since 1990 I was appointed at Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Udayana University in Singaraja and I continued my Master's degree in Australia in 1994 under the flag of Udayana University. When I finished my Master of Arts in Demography, I came back to Singaraja and the banner or flag of this faculty had change into a different name (i.e STKIP Singaraja then IKIP Negeri Singaraja but now Undiksha/Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha).   I had to go back to my initial appointment of teaching Home Economics without exposure for my Master's degree. However, I continued my doctorate degree in Australia under AusAID scholarships in 2002 and I hold a PhD in 2006. When I came back to Singaraja, campus politics was so hot and I cannot take it anymore as my Ph.D. in Sociology and Anthropology had been ignored by Undiksha. Again I had to teach in Home Economic Department again. Fortunately,  I got in 2011 a national research scheme and when the presentation in Surabaya taken place, I had to proclaim that I have to move to Udayana University since Undiksha had not given me credit for being a Doctor that is not linear with Home Economics study as my initial bachelor appointment. Then the reviewer asked me to change the role NOT as the head of research but a member. By 2012, I was successfully moved to  Udayana University where my Master of Arts in Demography and Ph.D. in Sociology and anthropology recognize and get the credit.

My achievement in years (8 years) after my appointment  at Udayana University:

- 2013 and 2015 : TVRI exposure for Perempuan Bicara, the collaboration with Bali Sruti Foundation despite another BALI TV serries of Mahadewi Nazrina Zuryani (availabe in Youtube).

- 2016: Winning multiyear national competence research funding for producing two reference books on "Population & Taxation" and  "Political Parties Accountability": Udayana University Press.

-2017-2021: Get position as Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Infomation at Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Udayana University.

- 2019: Get selected as FISIP best lecturer representative among 13 faculties representative at Udayana University.

- 2020: Appointed as "Satgas Unud Melawan COVID" or the member of Covid-19 Squad to fight Pandemi besides being a web site presenter for Ruang Guru and exposed to the newspaper of Radar Bali for winning an essay poem competition (written on 21 June 2020). The winner award was 10 HAZMAT/health outfits that being donated to Udayana Hospital (RSPTN Udayana University) on 15 June 2020 (written in Radar Bali). 

There are several English (or French) written articles has been published in 10 years' time. Among them was published in a French journal of  "LE BANYAN": 2016, in Journal of Balinese Studies: 2013, RIMA (Review of Indonesian and Malaysian Affairs: 2005) and a recognized national "Piramida" journal of Demography and Human Resources in 2016, WidyaSosioPolitika in 2015, 2013 so as Udayana Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities (UJoSSH) in 2018 and 2017. Actively involved in APSSI Conference and written conference paper that was published as international or national proceedings.
