The WHO (World Health Organization) China Country Office, on December 31, 2019 reported a case of pneumonia of unknown etiology in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China. Finally on January 7, 2020, it was discovered that pneumonia in question was a new type of coronavirus (coronavirus disease, COVID-19). On January 30, 2020 WHO finally established a public health emergency that is troubling the world / public health emergency of international concern (KKMMD / PHEIC). After the date of the stipulation, the spread of COVID-19 cases was very rapid and there was a spread between countries. The COVID-19 outbreak in Indonesia began in early March 2020 and in less than a month has been infected with 1,285 patients and 114 deaths in Indonesia until March 30, 2020. Corona caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS-CoV-2) has spread to many countries, including Indonesia. This disease took many lives and paramedics. The Masters Program in Animal Husbandry, Udayana  University, extends its deepest condolences to the heroes of health

Students who take further studies in the Master Program in Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, naturally experience obstacles and all-round limitations given the Rector's Instruction of Udayana University Number I of 2020, on Prevention of Development and Spread of Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) at Udayana University, namely to carry out the following instructions:

1.      Learning inside and outside the classroom in the form of face to face with participants more than 20 (twenty) can be replaced using distance learning applications (PJJ), email, WhatsApp, google classroom, and others

2.      Learning inside and outside the classroom in the form of face-to-face meetings with less than 20 participants can be carried out by paying attention to and complying with all Protocol requirements in the Area of ​​Educational Institutions referring to the Circular Letter of the Minister of Health RI Number HK.02.01 / MENKES / 199/2020 About Communication Handling of Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19), 4 namely: ensuring cleanliness of lecture halls, availability of hand washing facilities, screening of body temperature, lecturers and students not suffering from flu, and avoiding physical contact and equipment exchanges.

3.      Practical learning is postponed or replaced with other forms of assignment activities which are equivalent to online media.

4.      Thesis and Dissertation research seminars can be held with seminar participants up to 20 people with the provisions of researchers, examiners, and seminar participants must be in good health and meet the Protocols in the Area of ​​Educational Institutions referring to the Circular Letter of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number HK.02.01 / MENKES / 199/2020.4.

5.      Lecturers and Education Personnel are recommended not to receive visitors, both from within and outside the country and vice versa, Lecturers and Education Personnel are advised not to visit other areas at home and abroad.

6.      Foreign students who are taking part in ongoing international programs, must return to their home countries, so that they are permitted and facilitated by the KUI and International Program Managers. As well as for programs that will take place to be postponed.

7.      University institutional meetings involving less than 20 participants can still be held. The chairperson / coordinator / secretary of the meeting can also coordinate with meeting participants to be held online

Following up Udayana University Rector's Instructions No. I 2020, on Prevention of Development and Spread of Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) at Udayana University3 and Coordination Meeting between Udayana University Rector (UNUD), UNUD Academic Chancellor, Information Resources Unit (USDI) and the Institute for Learning Development and Quality Assurance (LP3M) 5 then technical steps are taken to implement PJJ during the period of preventing the development and spread of Corona Virus Disease:

1.      The implementation of face-to-face meeting is replaced with virtual synchronization face-to-face via Video Conference using the Webex Unud system (https: // universitas- udayana.webex.com).

2.      The Implementation of Independent Learning and Structured Tasks can be done through the Udayana University E-Learning portal, OASE Unud (https://oase.unud.ac.id).

3.      For lecturers who use OASE UNUD but not for regular lectures such as teaching international classes for foreign students, please contact your unit UPIKS to register courses and students. Classes and students will be made by UPIKS in coordination with USDI.

In addition, Udayana University followed up the Ministry of Education and Culture circular number 3 of 2020 concerning Prevention of Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) in the Education Unit and Rector's Instruction Number 1 of 2020 concerning Prevention of Development and Spread of Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) in Udayana University and following up on the results of the Udayana University Leadership Meeting on March 18, 2020, the leadership of Udayana University provided the following policies to be implemented, namely:

1.      Educational staff are permitted to work from home without reducing performance, not affecting employment rights.

2.      The leaders of each work unit are required to make rotational assignments, except for work units that have shift schedules and or those who get special assignments so that they can be tailored to the needs of the work unit.

Responding to the Chancellor's Instructions of Udayana University Number I in 2020, all staff of Faultas Animal Science lecturers, Udayana University held an online meeting using a webex meeting. The results of the lecturer meeting were addressed by the Animal Sceince Study Program by making SOPs for online lectures, online colloquia, online research seminar results and online thesis examinations.

The procedures that must be carried out by students, education personnel and lecturers are as follows:

1.      Students ask for a proposal submission form via Whatsapp to the study program operator

2.      Students coordinate with Koprodi, Advisor 1 and supervisor 2 to determine the testing team via Whatsapp / Email

3.      Students register for the exam online at SIMAK (Final Assignment List and Proposal Examination List) and contact the referral operator for validation

4.      Students submit the completeness of the Proposal examination (colloquium), seminar on research results and thesis examination.

5.      Proof of Proposal, a seminar paper on the results of research or a thesis that has been Acc (can be in the form of a chat cup or an electronic Scan signature).

6.      Study Program Operators check the completeness of Proposal exam documents, research seminar papers, and student theses.

7.      The Study Program operator processes the completeness of the proposal examination documents, seminar on research results and student thesis to be approved by Koprodi.

8.      Students coordinate with Koprodi and Supervisors to determine the date of the exam (the exam takes place at least 7 days after the submission of the Proposal exam is approved by Koprodi).

9.      Students contact all examiners for willingness to test online according to the date agreed by Koprodi and Supervisor.

10.  Study Program operators send Exam Invitations and Webex meet Online Test Links to all examiners and students via email or whatsapp (WAG).

11.  The Study Program operator sends the score form and the minutes of the examination to the Chief Examiner and all Examining Teams through WhatsApp (WAG).

12.  Study Program Operators check the exam readiness by conducting a rehearsal of the exam via Webex Meet which will be monitored by KoProdi.

13.  Exams are conducted online using the Webex meet application, where Supervisor 1 / Koprodi as Host is assisted by study program operators.

14.  Students and team of examiners use neat clothes according to the procedure of implementing the offline examination.

15.  Absence of the test is carried out by Screening Teleconfrence which is done by showing all the examiner teams and students.

16.  Time and implementation of the test in accordance with the invitation letter sent online.

17.  Powerpoint is displayed by students by entering powerpoint material into the existing content content in the webex application. The host will record all exam processes.

18.  After the examination is complete, the Chief examiner collects grades and will be assisted by the study program operator to score (students turn off their webex).

19.  After the grades are recap, the Chief Examiner invites students back to the webex meet and the Chief Examiner will read the Minutes of the Proposal Examination.

20.  Study Program Operators will input student Proposal exam scores to SIMAK.

21.  Documents that students should collect for examination purposes will be collected to the Secretariat of Masters in Animal Husbandry when the lecture situation is conducive.

            Based on some of the instructions above it can be concluded that the learning process in the Master of Animal Sciences Study Program, Udayana University can take place during the COVID-19 pandemic, although there are some obstacles that are not too significant. The entire academic community of Animal Science Masters Program, Udayana University can run a healthy and healthy lifestyle in accordance with government recommendations.
