In an effort to preserve and preserve Balinese among their speakers, Balinese transmigrants in Lampung Province make Balinese language a part of their identity. Various institutions that emerge informally and ethnically refer to Balinese identity are further strengthened by the use of Balinese in every interaction of citizens in these institutions. The role of religious ceremonies and traditions cannot also be ignored in relation to the use of Balinese. The use of Balinese in people's speech and traditional work helped to strengthen the position of Balinese as a form of ethnic Balinese identity. Although other languages are also used in various activities, but it does not fade the spirit of supporters to maintain the tradition with the Balinese language. So it can be concluded that the maintenance of the Balinese language by using it in social life such as in social organizations, religion, folk arts, and work is a reflection that the Balinese transmigrant citizens show ethnic Balinese identity through the Balinese language. Although there are uses of other languages such as Javanese and Indonesian, the role of the language is merely as an accessory.
