Abstract

Indonesian as the national language and the state language has been able to strengthen its position as a primary communication tool in the domains of state, culture, education, technology, mass media, trade, and language between nations nationally. A language, which was prior to the Youth Oath on October 28, 1928, was called the Malay language, which became a marker of our national identity. The big language has been able to bind the cultural diversity and language diversity of a large nation formed from various ethnicities. However, even though Indonesian has such a high position and function, most speakers still make it the second language after regional languages. The ability to use two languages equally according to the situation and speech involved is referred to as bilingual speakers.
