Funding period : 2020- Active
Abstrak
The purpose of this study
was to compare the growth of Balinese piglets originating from two sows that were
kept in a semi-organic and conventional systems. The study was conducted on a
Bali pig farm in the East Seraya Village, Karangasem, Bali. The parameters
observed were: hematological profile (erythrocytes, hemoglobin, hematocrit, erythrocyte
index, total and differential leukocytes); blood chemistry (total protein,
cholesterol, triglycerides); and the performance of pigs (birth weight, growth,
weaning weight, etc.) on the piglets. The hematological profile will be
examined using the Automatic Blood Count (ABC) and blood chemistry by the
enzymatic colorimetric methods.
