Pilot survey for disseminating small and medium enterprises technology for disaster prevention and environmental regeneration

The project of Pilot survey for disseminating small and medium enterprises technology for disaster prevention and environmental regeneration, is collaborative project between Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University and Takino Filter Inc., Japan and funded by JICA Japan for the first term of 3 years.  The second term will be direct collaboration between two parties Faculty of Agriculture, Udayaha University and Takino Filter Inc. In the first 3 years we have produced two type of products that were multi-function soil protection sheet (MP-type sheet) which were used for marginal land which consist of mostly stones, rock, or lava.  This type completed with some seed and mycorriza fungi sprore (fertilizer) in order to get better growth of vegetation beside to prevent soil surface erosion.  The other type was SP-type which is used in the soil rich area but surface soil erosion prone.  This type without seeds and mycorrizal fungi fertilizer.  The products have been used in the Caldera of Mt Batur, Kintamani, Bali, Indonesia, in the toll road of Jakarta-Cikampek, in the Trans Sumatra, in the Indsutrial Town of Jakarta, and in Timor Leste in collaboration with PT HUtama Karya, PT. Nindya Karya, and Timor Leste Government.

In the second term of the project will be the production and marketing  of the products.  The factory has been built in the University Farm (Farm of Faculty of Agriculture of Udayana University), for production and now need some professional staffs to manage this  collaborative project .
