Summary

Agarwood is one of the commodity of forest result  which has high economical value and as export commodity. One of the results of the processed agarwood is essential oils that are beneficial in the basic ingredients of farfum, cosmetics, and medicines. essential oil agarwood can cope with some diseases, among others: drugs abdominal pain, cancer, pain relievers, diarrhea, choking, lung tumor, tumor (Europe) cancer (India) Intestinal tumor (Japan, USA, Korea, etc.),  stress relievers, abdominal pain, asthma, hepatitis, renal impairment, cirrhosis, as well as the swelling of the liverinsomenia, rheumatism, stomach acid diseases, as a means of detoxification, and antioxidants.  The formation of oil on agarwood plants is influenced by the type of plant agarwood and environmental factors (climate, topography, and type of land). The purpose of this research is to know the volume and chemical composition of essential oils on agarwood plants on different land conditions. This research was conducted through the process of hydrodestillation and analysis of chemical components with Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrophotometer (GCMS). The materials used are samples of agarwood from different land: A (Agarwood on land with type Regosol land in Klungkung Regency) and B (Agarwood on land with type Latosol land in Tabanan Regency). The prescribed Agarwood samples consist of: (1) sapwood, (2) fad;  whereas the observed/analyzed land condition parameters are: physical properties of the land (slope, rainfall, temperature, rocks), physical and chemical soils properties
