PRIA (Pilot cohoRt for hIv/Aids) Bali Study, A Pilot Cohort Study of HIV and STI Prevention Among Men Who Have Sex with Men (MSM) / Warias in Bali, Indonesia

Until recently, there are no HIV incidence data in MSM/warias available in Indonesia, and limited data on prevalence of sexually transmitted infections (STIs). There has not been a longitudinal study of HIV-negative MSM/warias conducted in Bali. The purpose of this pilot cohort study is to assess the feasibility of recruiting and retaining MSM/warias into longitudinal HIV prevention study, and to provide the first HIV incidence estimates in this population.
