RADICALISM IN TEXTS OF SOCIAL MEDIA AS A THREAT TO INDONESIAN NATION BUILDING: FORENSIC LINGUISTICS STUDY

Funding period : 2021- Active

Abstrak

The development of the theme of radicalism in the social media text includes the themes of Anti-Other Religions, Anti-Government, Anti-Social and Anti Pancasila. The development of Anti-Religious Other and Anti Pancasila qualitatively and quantitatively is quite alarming when viewed in terms of ideological counterpoints and arguments spread by discourse producers. The other two themes, anti-social and anti-government themes are not as good as the two themes mentioned earlier because generally the learners only have limited knowledge and personal attitudes. In terms of the structure of discourse, there are two things: (a) the text pattern is directive and assertive with a one-sided perspective; (b) Targeted audiences are those who are seideological with social practices in the direction of discourse producers. There are three forms of threat: (a) an increase in radical discourse, (b) an increase in followers of radicalism, (c) the stronger the resistance to state ideology. All of this has implications for: (a) sharp sara opposition, (b) degradation of Pancasila belief as the basis of the state, (c) the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia, and (d) acts of violence.
