PENERAPAN TEMA DAN KONSEP PADA GEDUNG TEATER KINI BERSERI DI DENPASAR

The importance of a continuous training and performances on role play is one of the considerations in the making of Theater Kini Berseri in Denpasar at regional, national and international levels. The Theater Building is located on Tukad Batanghari in South Denpasar, and its aim not only for students in Denpasar but also students from other places in Bali. The theme for this facility is “Attractive” using modern concept building that considers the environment. The purpose of applying the theme ‘attractive" on the building is so that this facility can be used as an attraction for the art lovers, so that they will come and visit the theater. The applications for the theme in this building can be seen in floor leveling, the elevations of the walls, the repetition of shapes, blending in color like the colors brown, white, and black which gives a modern and elegant impression on the building. The application of themes and concepts can also be seen from the selection of building materials, mostly using wood and building facades.
