Development of Petang Village in Bali Province as Community Based Ecotourism Village

Abstrak
This research aims to prepare study baseline on the tourism object potency and attractiveness as well as the community participation preparedness in the development model of Community Based Agro-ecotourism as well as cooperation model with related stakeholder. It is used quantitative and qualitative methods in the form of existing data and tabulation of perception data by Participatory Rural Appraisal technique and in-depth interview. Based on the result of assessment shown that the village is quite potential to be developed; this can be seen from some aspects, such as attractiveness, social-economy, accessibility, accommodation and supporting facility of the agro-ecotourism development. Results in the preparedness and Analytic Hierarchy Process are discussed. Keywords: Community based agro-ecotourism, ecotourism village, development of the village
