Pengaruh Penambahan NaNO3 Dan KH2PO4 Pada Media BG11 Terhadap Konsentrasi Biomassa dan Kadar Khlorofil Tetraselmis chuii

The aim of this research is to know the effect of the addition of NaNO3 and KH2PO4 on BG11 medium on Biomass and chlorophyll content of Tetraselmis chuii and to find out the best chlorophyll content of Tetraselmis chuii. This study used factorial randomized block design. The first factor was NaNO3 consist of three level i.e. 0.5, 1.5 and 2.5 g/l. The second factor was KH2PO4 consist of three level i.e 0.020, 0.035 and 0.050 g/l. The experiment were grouped into two groups based on the time of cultivation, in order to obtain 18 experiment units. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance and if the treatment significantly affected the parameter followed by Duncan test. The result showed that the addition of NaNO3 and KH2PO4 had very significant effect on concentration of biomass and chlorophyll content of Tetraselmis chuii. The addition of 1.5 g/l NaNO3 and KH2PO4 0.035 g/l was produce the highest Biomass and chlorophyll concentration of 3.3x 106 cell/ml and 10.17 mg/g respectively.
