Hundreds of Bali cattle are kept in Suwung landfills in a detached manner. When the garbage truck unloads garbage from the city, cattle and scavengers compete to collect the materials / items needed by them.
Scavengers generally take plastic waste, while cattle scavenge forages wrapped
in plastic bags. As is well known, urban waste contains a lot of inorganic
materials including lead (Pb) heavy metals. Among the feed eaten by cattle, it
is possible to ingest inorganic materials and ingestion into the body of the cattle.
Therefore it is interesting to study the level of contamination of lead (Pb)
heavy in their blood.
