RESEARCH METHODS Volume 1

This volume 1 research method book discusses the research process in general, then discusses it one by one. The overall research process is written in 2 volumes, namely the research methods volume 1 and volume 2. In this volume research method book, it discusses 6 chapters related to the research process, where the first chapter discusses the preliminary title which discusses among others about science and scientific approaches, motives for the development of science, approaches to obtain truth, ways of scientific thinking, definitions of research, and quantitative and qualitative approaches in research. In Chapter 2 it discusses the types of research, in which discuss the types of research according to the level of explanation on which the researcher develops the formulation of the problem, objectives, and research hypotheses. Chapter 3 discusses the research process and research proposal. This book also discusses tips on how to make research proposals presented in chapter 4. Notions of population, and samples are discussed in chapter 5, and the last chapter, chapter 6 discusses sampling techniques, which are divided into 2 namely probability sampling and non probability sampling. Each of these sampling techniques is also detailed according to their respective sections. This volume 1 book is continued in volume 2 which discusses the continuation of the research process after the researcher determines the sampling technique that will be used in their research.
