Potato Agribusiness

Potatoes are one of the significant food in Indonesia. Improving the productivity and quality of potatoes is very important not only to provide consumers' need but also for farmers to increase their farm income while taking into account the sustainability of the environmental . This effort can be done by implementing a low external input sustainable agriculture (LEISA) approach that is integrated with the implementation of several other supporting production technologies such as the cultivation technique of low tunnel with plastic mulch, the use of high yield variety seeds, integrated pest management techniques, and post-harvest. This book is the result of the resume of several collaborative studies between the government (Directorate General of Higher Education Indonesia, the Local Government of Tabanan Regency, Udayana University, and the Kanti Sembada Farmer Group.
