Abstrak

As an ordinary human being, regardless of my profession as a historian who should not be able to judge the subject he wrote, then indirectly, the phrase "Bening Dew" can be referred to as my assessment of Doctor Djelantik. As already passed, the title of the book I gave after finishing writing and reading it in full. In my term, the title is the essence of the conclusions that I have obtained. "In fact, it turned out to be as clear as dew, yes, all the life journey of Anak Agung Made Djelantik, both when he occupied himself as the son of the king (stedehouder), doctor and culturalist.

Prase as Dew, is an expression of mine to replace the words clean, honest, and sincere represented in his appearance with a face always smiling. But the three concepts in this context are not to describe the figure like an angel, a god, but rather to the extent that ordinary human beings are ever hopeless and imperfect. Because even though graduates of public universities in the Netherlands, AAM Djelantik never patted the chest 'I'm a Dutch graduate, what are you?' Only local tertiary institutions!

Likewise, even though he was truly the king's son, Doctor Djelantik did not want to act as a prince. Compare this with a number of people today who like to hunt down the "majesty" of the king in various ways, not even reluctant to sacrifice self-esteem and cover up and even form their own version of historical knowledge. Though all of that is technique, strategy, maneuver, disposition, part of the game of Power of Knowledge which aims to produce bodies that are disciplined, obedient and useful Donny Gahlal Adian, 2002: 20)

AAM Djelantik, 90 years ago, when feudalism was still deeply rooted, not a 'beard fire' when called by his friend Made. While now there are still people who just want to turn around, want to smile when greeted, called Anak Agung Ngurah !!
