Folk entertainment through the holding of the festival received good reception from the people of the traditional village of Kerobokan. The first festival held in the Kerobokan Traditional Village of Bali is the Petitenget Festival. The festival is held towards the end of the year on September 14-16, 2018. The Petitenget Festival is held at the edge of Petitenget Beach. This is the first festival to be held in the tourist area of Petitenget Beach. The enthusiasm of both local and foreign tourists welcomed the festival. Seen from the crowds of visitors who come to this festival. The main attraction of this petitenget festival is the creation of a record of the Mass Weaving Dance performed by 2000 Balinese female dancers. The embodiment of the Mass Weaving Dance show is not only held to show the beauty of the dance movement, but as an effort by the government to preserve the weaving dance as a local dance originating from the Kerobokan Indigenous Village. This is certainly not easy for Festival organizers to do because it requires energy and time to prepare for the Petitenget Festival to run well and smoothly. Each banjar in Kerobokan Indigenous Village actively participates in the realization of the record for Mass Weaving Dance. This can be seen from the involvement of dancers who are Balinese women from the Kerobokan area. Preparations are made by dancers by practicing dancing for the three months leading up to the festival. Dancing practice is carried out in each banjar. With regular dancing practice, the mass weaving dance performance at the festival runs well and smoothly.

Local community participation is very much needed in the holding of the Petitenget Festival. Of course, active cooperation is needed between the government, the local community and the tourism industry in organizing this festival. Local community participation is very important because good tourism must be supported by local communities and the welfare of the surrounding local communities. For this reason, it is necessary to examine the extent of active participation of the local community in organizing the Petitenget Festival so that it can run well and smoothly. Local people are also expected to be able to provide perceptions regarding the holding of the Petitenget Festival so that it can be used as a reference in preparing for the next Petitenget Festival.
