In implementing ergonomics for solving the problem he introduced the Total Ergonomic Approach, which is a combination of S-H-I-P Approach with the Appropriate Technology. In case the technology is needed it must be  assessed using 6 criteria such as technologically, economically, culturally, environmentally, and trendy. S-H-I-P means Systemic, Holistic, Interdisciplinery, and Participatory.

In doing that a workshop need to conduct. All  participants devided into groups. In every group consists of maximum 10 persons. In every group there is one facilitator. Workshop is conducted by a moderator, to directing all facilitators involved. The steps must be done in the groups, are 1) identification of the existing problems,  by the brain drain in the negative sentences, and changing into positive sentences, classifying into urgent, essential, and important. 2)  the SWOT analyses is applied to the existing problems. 3) plan of actions on the existing problems, in terms of vision, mission, action plans in every group must be done, in every positive sentences identified, by implementing the W4H1. The  W4H1 means What is (are) the problem (s); Why  it is so; Who will do that; When must be done; How do we do that. The end results are how many problems identified, and what department (s) involved, how many sources needed. The same approach had been done more than 50 time for the raising problem encountered.
