Bali is a province in Indonesia with a majority of Hindus. Bali itself is used as a tourism destination with a unique variety of arts and culture. Bali is also known as the Island of the Gods and Pulau Seribu Pura. There are many temples in Bali, one of them is Besakih Temple. Besakih Temple was nicknamed the main temple in Bali (The Mother of Temple). This temple was built based on the concept of Tri Hita Karana, namely the concept of balance between humans, nature and God. The structure of the temple building is adjusted to the direction of the wind so that the structure of the building can represent nature as a symbolism of the existence of this balance. Decorative or ornamentation found in Besakih Temple, namely flora ornament, including Patra Wangga, Patra Sari, Bun-Bunan, Punggel Patra, Mas-Masan, Sulur Patra Egypt, Patra Samblung. Then the fauna decoration found in Besakih Temple, namely Patra Naga, Patra Singa, Patra Turtle and Patra Garuda. There are various natural decoration in the form of Sheep Coral, Goak Coral, Elephant Coral, Sae Coral and religious or religious decoration types there are Coral Stone, Simba Coral, Kusuma Coral, Murdha Bajra, Murdha Tirtha, Bantala, Gegodeg, Arca Kala, Human Statues and Statues God. Every once a year a traditional Betara Turun Kabeh ceremony is held and all Hindus with various castes in Bali gather at the Pura Besakih to worship together.

Bali carving is known as carving art with high artistic value, the selling price also depends on who the artist is working on, the details of the carving and the type of material. The work of each artist has a different economic value with their particular characteristics that are difficult for other artists to imitate. Balinese carving art developed in the life of the Balinese people, marked by the number of home buildings that are patterned in Balinese carving style. Carving usually uses wood or stone media. The motifs used are forms that take from nature such as flora and fauna, also from forms of belief. The function of the carving is in the form of building decoration, magical function which contains certain symbols which are believed to have magical powers, symbolic functions, and also economical construction. With the development of Balinese carving in the community, the writer wishes to create a system that can provide information related to Balinese carvings.
