Waiting Time Optimation In Repeated Work Schedule Using Repetitive Scheduling Method (Rsm) In Building Construction In Bali

Bali Provincial Regulation No. 16 of 2009 stated that the maximum height of buildings in Bali is 15 meters, which made the construction projects in Bali is generally carried out horizontally, especially the construction of hotels and housing. This type of horizontal project development has a repetitive work package which requires a continuous and well scheduling method that is able to accommodate and optimize resource requirements. The purpose of this study is to optimize the waiting time (Lag time and Lead time) of working groups with Repetitive Scheduling Method (RSM) on the recurrent work of building construction projects in Bali. Scheduling optimization is carried out on workgroups, work zones, and implementation time. Secondary data types that are used include Cost Budget Plans, Unit Price Analysis Lists, Time Schedules, and Project Drawings. Primary data include work zones, workforce numbers, and workgroup productivity. Data were obtained by site identification survey and observation on 62 units of one-bedroom type villa project building construction of Six Sense Uluwatu Villa Resorts Pecatu, Badung regency. The results using the RSM method showed that the completion of the construction project was 359 working days, 5 days faster than the length of the contract which was 364 working days. It employed 7 working groups which were divided into 7 work zones. Zone 1 to 6 consisted of 9 villas and zone 7 consisted only 8 villas. The results showed that the waiting time optimization was able to accommodate and optimize the needs of workgroups and work zones on repetitive work.
