Kuta as a beach tourist attraction is stressed to the rest of the World. Thousands of tours come every day to enjoy beach tourism such as sunbathing, playing surfing in the waves to enjoy the sun. This tourism object is located in the Kuta district of Badung Regency. Wiasata visits to these attractions and has 203,583 inhabitants in this region. Certainly raises the problem of garbage that is not simple.

Therefore, there is one interesting thing, which is how this area in terms of managing and handling existing waste. Waste management and transportation of waste in the North Kuta District still has many problems, one example of the pattern of garbage collection both individually and cumulatively, including garbage from settlements, which averaged 17.43 people per liter per day.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the needs of the garbage transport fleet, to find out more optimal garbage transportation routes, also to determine the needs of the garbage transport fleet for the next 5 years.

For example, in the current fleet of garbage transport fleets in the North Kuta sub-district, only 2 fleets can be used from the 15 existing fleets. Particularly in the trucks owned by DKP, it is not enough to transport waste volumes per day in the North Kula District. The current route is still very far from expectations because the number of the fleet and routes that do not cover the whole area of the north Kuta district. And there are no temporary landfills in each of the villages, there is also a need for a temporary landfill with a velocity of 7 cubic meters. Are there the following: Dalung village 10 TPS, Kerobokan Kaja 7 TPS, Krobokan 5 TPS Village, Krobokan Kelod 5 TPS Village, Tibu Beneng Village 5 TPS, Canggu 4 TPS Village.

In this analysis required supporting data including primary data and secondary data. Primary data in the form of waste generation survey data that aims to obtain data on the results of the generation of waste generated by residential and non-residential areas, travel surveys and the number of amada that aims to find data about travel speed and travel time, as well as travel distance and find out the number of garbage transport fleet required. Secondary data needed is population data, map of North Kuta District.

The volume of waste generation in North Kula District in 2019 is 231.72 m3 / day. The current garbage transport route is still ineffective due to a shortage of garbage transport fleets. The need for a fleet of garbage transporters in Kecamatan Kuta Utara in 2019 is 27 vehicles. The projected need for a fleet of garbage transporters in 2019 is 49 fleets. 2020 is 52. In 2021 there are 56 fleets. In 2022 there were 60 dump trucks. So the whole needs 217 dump trucks.

The results of this study are expected to be input for badung district government, especially in North Kuta Sub-district in handling waste matters.
