Synergy to Eradicate Bird Flu

POULTRYINDONESIA, Denpasar - Avian influenza (AI) is a zoonotic disease, and the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture has designated this disease as a strategic animal disease. In Indonesia, there was an extraordinary event (KLB) of bird flu in the period 2005-2007 which killed thousands of poultry in various regions in Indonesia.

Currently AI disease in Indonesia can already be controlled, but it still needs to be aware because the nature of this virus is easily transmitted and easily mutated. This was conveyed by Professor of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Udayana Bali University Prof. Gusti Ayu Yuniati Kencana in a poultry seminar organized by FKH Udayana and PDHI Bali in Denpasar, Bali on Saturday (2/11).
