The  impact  of  thCorona  virus  outbreak  (Covid-19) is  not  only detrimental  to the health side. This pandemic has even affected the economies of countries around the world, including Indonesia. One of the sectors that is strongly affected by this pandemic is the tourism sector. Bali that in fact 58% of its local income sustained by the tourism sector is very affected by this pandemic Covid-19.

Based on data from Badan Pusat Statistik (May 2020), Bali's economic growth in the first quarter of 2020 dropped by 1.14%. This condition is generally caused by a decrease of tourist arrival to Bali, resulting a reduction in service exports performance.  Bali's slowing economic growth has come from the decrease of tourism support sectors such as accommodation, transport, industry and trade. The increasingly limited number of international or domestic flights in April and May 2020 makes the decrease even deeper and this is expected to continue until the 4th quarter o2020. The decrease of the Balinese economy during the Covid-19 pandemic proves the fragility of the tourism sector. This moment can be used as a momentum to build awareness so that development in Bali runs in balance between tourism and other sectors such as agriculture and crafts. This is in line with the plan of the Governor of Bali, Wayan Koster, who said that agriculture, tourism and industry in the future will be more balanced in Bali’s economy structure.  The industry will be built in accordance with the potential and resources of Bali, namely Bali's branding culture-based industry. Agriculture product and handicraft industry should have added value as well as be able to compete in the local marketplace, regional and global levels.
