    Bali tourism never dreamed that this pandemic will happened. Already three months tourism in Bali seems to be "apparent death" caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.  Most of the tourism industries in Bali effected by this pandemic. All efforts  are made by the tourism industries to sell their product. Recently virtual tour trend appeared as a new form to sell their tourism product to tourist.

    Virtual tour already known in several years ago, but suddenly booming in this pandemic era. Can be said that virtual tour is one form of the  e marketing in term of promotion tool that used for a long time, but became most popular in this pandemic era. Through virtual tour tourist can get preliminary information about tourist destination that they planned to visit in Bali. A good virtual tour will encourage tourist to visit some of tourist attractions in Bali in the next future. This virtual tour trend can be seen as opportunity and challenge.  Virtual tour as  opportunity : 1) practical and efficient promotion for Bali, 2) preliminary information source for the tourist before visit the tourist destination, 3) can sell tourism product and earn some money in this pandemic era, 4) many cheap platforms that can be used for the virtual tour, 5) there are a lot of social media that can used as a place to promote and sell the virtual tour. Some challenge that faced Bali in this virtual tour : 1) good  infrastructure and facilities especially in signal and a magnificent video recording equipment, 2) competent human resources in preparing and doing the good also interesting virtual tour., 3) find a right platform to promote and sell the virtual tour.

    Based on the exposure above about opportunity and challenge for Bali in this virtual tour trend, so we need a great coordination between all the tourism stake holder in Bali such as government, academics, and all the tourism practitioner to make many interesting virtual tours for some Bali's tourist products. If this virtual tour get a special attention from all Bali tourism stakeholder so the opportunity and challenge  that faced by Bali in this virtual trend era can optimally managed and for the challenge can be handle well.
