Alright, I'd like to share from the perspective of a thesis examiner.

Many students feel nervous mainly because they're overly concerned about what the examiners might say or ask. Their focus is dominated by fear, worrying because this is an examination, a test of their ability to withstand all kinds of challenging questions. Scary, isn't it? 😊 What if I can't answer? They have a thousand and one anxieties.

Try shifting your mindset like this: "This thesis defense is my chance to share my findings from the field. I'm going to share valuable knowledge that the examiners need to know. This is my show my opportunity to demonstrate my understanding of concepts and theories, and to present my impressive PowerPoint slides."

Most students tend to start by admitting, "Sorry, sir, I'm very nervous," while looking down and showing inferiority hoping the examiners will feel sorry for them and avoid difficult questions. THIS IS WRONG! Instead, you'll negatively influence the mood of your examiners. If you've ever watched public speaking or attended gym classes, you'll know that the person in front is the one who sets the mood, whether in class or at the gym, making the atmosphere lively and engaging.

Here, I'll share the thesis evaluation criteria at my university:

The essence of my message is this: don't let yourself, after having written your thesis, worked so hard studying and analyzing data, suddenly go blank during the thesis defense just because of nervousness.

HOPE THIS HELPS!
