A number of countries are now increasingly aggressively developing and promoting tourism such as Thailand, Vietnam, Korea and others. In the midst of such competition, it seems that Bali still has a sale value, but many things must be done to maintain and or increase the attractiveness of Bali's tourism.

Academics from the Faculty of Tourism of Udayana University, I Gusti Agung Oka Mahagangga said, the development of tourism in Bali continues to be carried out to achieve the target of tourist visits to Indonesia 20 ju Blind people per year targeted by the government. However, one thing that should not be forgotten is that Bali tourism was born because of its unique culture. The results showed, the hope of tourists who love Bali is that Bali should never change both its culture and nature. "Hospitality must also always be maintained and supported by all components including those who are not Balinese but who live and work in Bali. Bali is owned by Balinese, owned by Indonesia and belongs to the world, "he said, Wednesday (6/11) at the Faculty of Tourism, Unud Denpasar.

Further said, the government is currently developing cruise ship tourism that can bring 2-4 thousand tourists in one leaning. "Cruise ship tourism seems to have a special type of tourists, starting from the character, interests, and motivations including holiday periods and length of stay of tourists which can be different from tourists in general. For this reason, pier infrastructure readiness, tourist safety and attractive tourist attractions need to get the attention of the government and tourism stakeholders, "he said.

For this reason, all tourism stakeholders (the government, tourism practitioners, local communities and others) should take their respective roles. "It is necessary to take into account tourism products that are of interest to these typical cruise travelers. But efforts must be made to refer to cultural tourism as a tourist attraction for Bali, because Balinese culture is very unique and not owned by other regions and countries, "he said.

In an effort to present attractive destinations for cruise tourists, it is necessary to establish good cooperation between tour operators and service providers both regional governments, transportation, managers of the intended tourist attractions and the local communities visited and other interested parties to equalize understanding in providing services and based on sustainable tourism.

"The main spearhead of this cruise ship tourism is a safe-comfortable seaport, in accordance with standards and has characterized Bali as a tourist destination with its cultural tourism and cultural landscape. It is fitting to know the interests and destinations of these tourists to the tourist attraction (DTW) where and as far as possible is sought or calculated in accordance with the typical cruise ship tourists, who generally want to witness the beauty of nature, unique culture and shopping in accordance with local characteristics, "he said .

The intended DTW must be able to provide it as a representation of Bali, namely the Island of the Gods, Pulau Seribu Pura, Pulau Sorga and others. "This is a golden opportunity for regions in Bali that have not yet developed tourism. Like North Bali and West Bali which can already be calculated for its development. In a sense, existing and established DTWs remain the main priority, while preparing other DTWs for equitable tourism in Bali, "he said. * pur
