Can Melayangan (flying kite) prevent the Corona virus from spreading ?. Floating is a popular activity in Bali. This activity is centered on body mechanics activities, such as running, pulling pushes and others, such as sports so that in terms of health it is very useful to maintain stamina and knowledge of the body. In the atmosphere of this pandemic corona Melayangan can be done as long as it meets the Health protocol.

BACKGROUND

In 2020 the world gasped as if in disbelief, the spread of a type of virus that attacks the respiratory tract spreads so rapidly throughout the world. Transmission of the virus known as the cool name Covid 19 is so massive in a matter of months (4 months) has become a world pandemic. The initial discovery of the spread of this virus was in China's China's Wuhan province, spread quickly to nearly 150 countries. The extent of this pandemic has caused each country to take its own policies, some of which have been locked down a month and some even monthly.

In Indonesia, the government under President Jokowi adopted the policy of Large-Scale Social Restrictions, meaning that community activities are limited in all fields both from the economic movement and especially the world of education (the source of the Task Force). In addition, local governments are also invited to make policies that refer to the Protocol provided by the National Task Force.

The next development turned out to be people who carry out activities at home experiencing boredom, so began the community doing activities that are usually routinely carried out such as Melayangan or playing kites.

In Bali there is an activity that is hereditary in all age groups and genders, namely "Melayangan". Melayangan or known in Indonesia as a kite flying activity. Gliding is one of the habits of Balinese people from the beginning, ranging from the children, adolescents, adults, men and women love it. Spiritually according to Hindu beliefs that also have beliefs about floating mythology are beliefs about the mythology of a person named "Rareangon" which is the incarnation of Lord Shiva is tending his buffalo in the middle of rice fields. Rareangon itself is believed to be the protector of rice fields when planthopper pests occur, so this kite game is also a form of offerings from Balinese Hindus before God in the realization of Shiva.

Behind this spiritual activity, Melayangan is now increasingly developing, and even becomes routine activities and activities of the community through competitions with artistic creations that are very beautiful to the eye. Melayangan also in the past few years is usually accompanied by the activities of groups of cheerleaders such as: the harbor of baleganjur, cheerleading teams, and parade teams with various dances. When viewed from mechanics or physics, the activity of flying is a very complex movement, for example there is a movement of matter, there is energy expenditure from running, there is a booming music, and an understanding of astronomy (wind movement) and others. What about the health element especially the prevention of the spread of the Covid 19 pandemic ?. Judging from the number of people who carry out activities and the area of field used it can be seen the density of people in it but whether by comparison the number of individuals who are active with the area of field used "Can Melayangan be said to be potentially an activity that hinders the expansion of the spread of Covid 19? .

Corona Virus 19

A virus is a microorganism that is too small to be sculpted under an ordinary microscope and cannot be left outside its host. [Radji, M. 2010]. The virus was known to cause a disease first described by Aristotle when the rabies virus was discovered. The term virus was known in 400 BC, but lessons about the new virus developed rapidly starting in the 19th century [Radji, M. 2010].

The existence of a virus as a cause of a new disease was discovered in the late 19th century, this was proven in 1892 Dimitri Iwanoski, a bacteriologist, reported the transmission of infection by bacterial filter filtration in tobacco which causes mosaics in tobacco plants. In 1898 Martinus Beijerink stated that the infection in the bacteria-free filtrate was actually alive and not in the form of particles, then named contangium vivum fluidum. In the 1930s scientists called the material called a Virus. Viruses in Latin are poison. Until now it is still a mystery. In 1935 Wendel Henley, a chemist from America succeeded in isolating the Mosquito Virus Tabacco, and then purified it so that the chemical properties of the virus could be studied. As a parasite when infecting cells or human respiratory tissue will cause general symptoms such as fever ≥38 oC, dry cough, and shortness of breath. If there are people who within 14 days before the symptoms appear have traveled to an infected country, or have treated / had close contact with a COVID-19 sufferer, then that person will have further laboratory tests to confirm the diagnosis. A person can be infected with COVID-19 sufferers. This disease can spread through small droplets from the nose or mouth when coughing or sneezing. The droplet then falls on the surrounding objects. Then if someone else touches an object that has been contaminated with the droplet, then that person touches the eyes, nose or mouth (facial triangle), then that person can be infected with COVID19. Or it could also be someone infected with COVID-19 when accidentally inhaling droplets from sufferers. This is why it is important to keep a distance of about one meter from the sick.

Melayangan (Flying Kite)

Melayangan or playing a kite is one of the activities that hit in Indonesia especially in Bali. Endang Ernawati, founder of the Indonesian Kite Museum, said. Until now in Indonesia there is no complete reference about kites. According to [Endang, E.2019] because long ago Indonesian culture was not a culture of writing or making notes about a tradition. In Java and Bali, for example, flying a kite is a form of gratitude to the Creator.

In Java there is the term "Lare Angon", Rare Angon (herdsman) in Bali. The term rare angon in Bali is associated with Hindu beliefs, namely to Lord Shiva. Beliefs and traditions are developing in Indonesia. Agriculture is a nation and the wind blows throughout the year. So when there is free time the farmers and families used to fill the time of herding by playing kites (Melayangan). The kite traditions (Melayangan) typical of Bali starts from the habit of the children of farmers who spend their time playing in the rice fields. To get rid of boredom, they flew. The tradition of making Balinese kites continues to grow until now. This tradition is not only practiced by children, but also by adults. Not only that, over time, the Balinese develop various forms of kites that have unique designs different from kites from other places. Even today kites with a combination of electronic development can spin electronically and use flickering lighting. Because of the large number of kites in the air sometimes dangerous for flights.

DISCUSSION

From exposure to literature review it can be described that the spread of the corona virus or Covid 19 begins with the discovery of the first cluster in the Wuhan area of China, nearly half of Wuhan residents are infected. The transmission of Covid 19 is thus still known from the beginning of December 2019, so in 4 to 5 months almost 147 countries have experienced a Covid 19 pandemic.

In Indonesia, the case of Covid began to be discovered in February 2020 when someone had a fever, cough and runny nose after attending a party that involved many foreigners. (School reunion). From this case then the number of days increased until June 2020, 60 thousand people have been infected with the positive term Covid 19. And hundreds of thousands more people are suspected of having the virus both without symptoms and patients with supervision. [Task Force source]. From this reality the acceleration task force in advance has issued procedures and guidelines to avoid the transmission of Covid 19. The most important thing is washing hands, keeping the environment clean, reducing interaction with many people, do not make activities that allow many groups to gather. Emptiness of interaction with many people makes some people become bored, economic difficulties and various very unpleasant effects. For some people after 3 months Lock down with fear began to do activities even though it was limited for example selling on the street, going to the market, to the super market and coincidentally in March according to the Balinese calendar calculations have begun to dry and the wind began to swift speed.

After celebrating Nyepi in April, a number of kites began to dance in the open spaces. In April, May to August, according to the Balinese Hindu calendar, it is known by the pull of the wind that was heavy enough so that the drought began to arrive. Dry season means the sun is blazing. For Bali, the temperature range in Bali if in May, June, July can reach an average of 31 - 33 oC is quite hot. Coastal areas during the day can reach 40 to 42 oC estimated at 11 to 15 Wita. Dry season arrives, strong winds mean that the seasoning sign arrives, although it is not coordinated in the form of loma or festival groups. Melayangan groups move happily to the field or the beach, in the middle of the harvested fields. Flying activity is relatively involving many people but in terms of health it is physical and spirit sport. Physical exercise is running, gymnastics, screaming and laughing. Spiritually laughing, listening to music, chatting and others. If viewed from the health protocol issued by the Covid Task Force, there are a number of things from airing that are in accordance with the post include activities that can maintain physical health (Sports), sunbathing by waving in the middle of the field during the day (estimated temperature of 40o to 45 oC) is evenly distributed throughout the body surface, meaning that ultraviolet (UV) rays can hit the body. Repeated heating with a temperature of 40o to 70 o C according to the theory of Pasteurization can kill germs to viruses, so the world of health is often used to help maintain hygienic medical devices.

CONCLUSION

From the description of Melayangan above, if it is associated with the Covid 19 pandemic in Indonesia, especially in Bali, it can be concluded that, hovering is a Balinese activity that is associated with the belief in Hyang Widi, namely Shiva as the manifestation of a rare angon. This belief outlines Hyang Shiva's always blessing and seeing the farmers to achieve prosperity. With belief and has become a tradition it has been preserved with flying competitions and festivals.

Melayangan is an activity that can help in maintaining physical health through running, bodybuilding and fitness, spiritual health in the form of laughter, listening to music and social interaction. Besides that, it is also carried out in a terrain environment with high speed air, the afternoon sun reaching 45 o C repeatedly throughout the body can kill germs including viruses. From this reality the health protocol by the task force can be majority implemented.

Flying activity is now also carried out by covering the nose with a shirt or sleyer because it is usually dusty field so this protocol can also limit the spread of covid 19.
