DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF EVENT TOURISM MANAGEMENT SYSTEM BASED ON CLOUD COMPUTING TO MAKE SMART TOURISM IN GIANYAR DISTRICT

Abstrak

Gianyar Regency with a number of tourism potentials (one of which is a tourism event) needs to be managed properly, in order to increase regional and community income. There are a number of tourist events in Gianyar that feature art shows that are of interest to tourists. Unfortunately, there is no IT-based system that manages all travel event data for art shows, processes them into information, presents them online and mobile, and completes them with an art ticket reservation service. This is quite difficult for tourists and can reduce the quality of tourism services in Gianyar Regency, which can threaten regional and community income from the tourism sector. Using the DSRM (Design Science Research Methodology) methodology based on problems in the field and user needs, which includes qualitative research methods (interviews, observations in the field) and Black Box testing methods (on the developer side) and UAT (on the user side) , then the research proposed Design and Implementation of a Cloud Computing Tourism Event Management System to Realize Smart Tourism in Gianyar Regency. Steps - steps taken in the study, including field visits and interviews to see the problems that occur and find out the needs of users, formulation of the problem, submitting system design, system implementation based on the proposed design, testing the system on the developer and user side, as well as documentation and publication of research results in national / international journals. The added value of this research is the addition of education on the user's side through application testing in the form of UAT.
