COVID19CBR: WEB-BASED SELF-DIAGNOSE COVID19 WITH CASE BASED REASONING METHOD

Funding period : 2021- Deactivate

Abstrak

The handling of the Covid19 Pandemic in Bali combines the medical and Information Technology (IT) sides. On the IT side, information services for Covid19 and early detection of Covid19 based on web and mobile applications are available, but there are no independent and online self-diagnosing services for the public. Self-help and online diagnosis is very necessary so that people can find out whether they are experiencing common symptoms, uncommon symptoms, or serious symptoms related to Covid19 and their handling solutions. Self-help and online diagnosis also helps medical personnel, because people can self-diagnose themselves first, before medical treatment (isolation, self-isolation, treatment) is carried out by hospitals and medical personnel. For this reason, in this research proposal, a proposal for the development of a Covid19CBR application prototype is proposed, which is a web-based prototype of the Covid19 self-diagnosis system application using the Case Based Reasoning (CBR) method which can be run online via a web browser. Users only need to input their biodata, choose the symptoms they are experiencing or feel, then the system will provide the diagnostic results online. The methodology used in this research is Design Science Research Methodology (DSRM), with a case study qualitative research method, a literature study data collection method, and a BlackBox Testing method. The results of this study, in the form of the Covid19CBR application, are expected to be able to assist the community in making independent diagnoses related to the symptoms of Covid19 as part of the 3T step (Testing, Tracing, Treatment).
