Conceptualisations and Cultural Models of ANGER in Indonesian
Funding period : 2021-2024 Active
Abstrak
I was invited to contribute a chapter (a PDF link here and in the Updates section 👇) to a volume as part of the multi-volume work on the conceptualisations and cultural models of ANGER across languages (edited by Zoltán Kövecses, Réka Benczes, and Veronika Szelid) published under the Comparative Handbooks of Linguistics [CHL] series in De Gruyter Mouton). I worked on the metaphoric and metonymic conceptualisations and the cultural models of ANGER in Indonesian. The chapter was written using the R Markdown Notebook to interweave narratives and R codes to generate the statistics, tables, graphics and examples of the metaphorical expressions/patterns (except the interlinear glossing); these materials (R Notebook with codes, other R utility scripts, and the database) can be accessed on Open Science Framework (OSF) and synced via GitHub. My other ongoing and past research can be accessed here.
